TRAINING OFFERINGS

 
 

Tactical Medical and Emergency Medical Training Offerings

  • Short 1-4-hour refresher/tac-med skills driven hands on trainings

  • 1 day (6-8 hr) Tactical Life Saver (TLS)- skills based and scenario driven tac-med training

  • 2 day Tactical Medical Operator (TMO), more comprehensive training designed to include complex scenario based learning

  • 5 day Tactical Medical Technician (TMT), extremely comprehensive class to include certification by NAEMT TECC and full scale exercises.

  • Custom class, skills training as requested (eg. Intravenous access and medication administration)

Consultation/Advisor

(On all things medical to include, but not limited to)

  • Medical kits, IFAK, low profile medical gear preparedness and outfitting

  • Advice on best practices for medical preparedness, preventions, early intervention, and emergency medical response

  • Advising on medical/rescue gear selection, including vetted vendor suggestions

  • Advisor for travel medicine preparedness

Medical personnel deployments to include local, national and international travel qualified, and certified medical personnel to accompany EP team to provide medical care to Principle/family and EP team and to interface with local medical assets as needed.

 

Tac-Med Training Options

 

Tactical Medical Skills workshop/refresher (1-4 hours)

  • Up to 12 students, 2 Instructors

  • Skills driven/ hands on/ small group scenarios

  • No classroom needed

  • Text- Tactical Medical Field Guide

Tactical Life Saver (8 hours)

  • One day/ up to 12 students, 2 Instructors

  • No classroom needed, skills and scenario area outside (ideal)

  • Class is POST, DHS and EMSA approved

  • Textbook- Tactical Medical Field Guide

 

Tactical Medical Operator (16 hours)

  • 2 days/ up to 12 students, 2 instructors

  • Class is POST, DHS and EMSA approved

  • Classroom/ outside space and scenario area needed

  • Text- Tactical Medical Field Guide

Tactical Medical Technician (TMT) (40 hours)

  • 5 days, up to 20 students

  • 2 lead instructors, 4 skill/ proctor instructors

  • Some medical training pre-requisites

  • Class is certified by NAEMT, POST approved, EMSA approved

  • TECC cert included
